One of my favorite days in Grenada was the day we drove through the island to Seven Sisters - a hiking trail with beautiful picturesque waterfalls along the way. This hike was a little more challenging than Big Sur - Big Sur is quite dry with a lot of uphill travel, whereas Seven Sisters was quite humid and wet. Either way, it made for a fun experience, one that I enjoyed more than my Nikes. I posted a few pictures from the hike above, but they don't do it justice. The cheesy photo on the bottom left is one that Brian and I took when after we hiked to Honeymoon Falls. They call it that because at the base of the waterfall, the area is shaped like a heart.
Later that night we took a cab over to LaLuna - probably one of the most gorgeous resorts on the island. Now I live in Chicago, and I've been in my fair share of crazy cab rides, but this one is at the top for sure. Firstly, our drivers name was Pirate - first sign that I thought we were for sure not going to be heard of again. Secondly - the resort we were eating at is very remote, so the drive there was also questionable. We arrived and the scene was amazing - such a hidden gem!
With ALL that said - the above look is what I wore to the dinner. I kept it island causal with a jumpsuit and spiced it up with some statement necklaces! It was perfect for so many reasons, but mainly for the elastic waistband that allowed me to eat my heart out at dinner. Thanks Bri for the dinner date :)
